This beard oil is super easy to put together and will make your man’s beard healthy, smooth, and lovely to touch. All it takes is five ingredients, two carrier oils and 3 essential oils. But before we get to the recipe let’s look closer at the ingredients.

Beard Oil Ingredients

For the carrier oils you’ll use jojoba and grapeseed oil.

The Carrier Oils

Jojoba oil is technically a wax, which is closely similar to the sebum that you skin naturally produces. Sebum helps moisturize the hair, but as the hair grows longer it doesn’t produce enough sebum to moisturize it thoroughly. Jojoba oil make moisturizing your man’s beard easy as pie. This oil is non greasy and super good for dry skin and hair.

Grapeseed oil is hypoallergenic which means that its less likely to cause an allergic reaction making it perfect for sensitive skin. It too, is non greasy and absorbs quickly.

Together these two carrier oils make a great oil both for the hair and skin giving you a smooth beard and soft healthy skin. On a side note, if you don’t have grapeseed oil you can use just jojoba oil. Other substitutes are fractionated coconut oil or sweet almond oil.

The Essential Oils

Next up we have the essential oils. You’ll be using refreshing sweet orange, spicy black pepper and woodsy Virginian cedarwood.

Sweet orange is great for acne, eczema, and psoriasis which leads to the likelihood that is great for sensitive skin. Sweet orange is the star of this essential oils blend with a fresh citrus scent that is uplifting and calming.

Black pepper is also great for acne, eczema, and psoriasis. It works with the sweet orange to promote healthy looking skin. Black pepper has a warms woody scent.

The final essential oil in this trio is Virginian cedarwood. It has anti-inflammatory properties making is great for minor skin irritations and itchiness. It has a dry woodsy scent which is popular in many men’s grooming products.
