Essential Oil Emotional Escape Room Sprays

Room sprays offer a simple and easy way to freshen the air in your emotional escape room. Follow the recipes below to make your room sprays. Then relax in a comfy air chair and let your worries go. 

The Base Room Spray Recipe

All room sprays start with the base recipe. In a 4-ounce spray bottle you will add 2 tablespoons witch hazel or 2 tablespoons 100 proof vodka. Then you will add 30 to 45 drops of essential oils. Choose from the recipes below. Swish the bottle around to mix the oils and witch hazel or vodka together. Top off with distilled water. You could also use boiled and then cooled tap water as a substitute. 

Fresh Flowers

The following room spray will bring you to a meadow of Fresh Flowers. Breath deep and enjoy the refreshing aromas of geranium and lavender.

  • 15 drops geranium
  • 10 drops lavender
  • 10 drops ylang ylang
  • 5 drops sandalwood

Ocean Breeze

Dive in to the cooling and invigorating scent of an Ocean Breeze. These essential oils will bring you to the beach and relax your tired body.

  • 15 drops cedarwood
  • 10 drops lime
  • 5 drops spearmint
  • 5 drops frankincense

Vanilla Breeze

Love the scent of vanilla? Then you’ll love Vanilla Breeze. 

  • 10 drops vanilla
  • 15 drops grapefruit
  • 10 drops lavender
  • 5 drops cedarwood

Deodorizing

Does your escape room smell a little musty? Then deodorize it with this deodorizing room spray. So simple, so fresh.

  • 20 drops tea tree
  • 15 drops lemon

Essential Oil Emotional Escape Room Diffuser Blends

Now for the diffuser blends. Simply fill your ultrasonic diffuser with the recommended amount of water. If you are using a 500 ml diffuser you may want to double the recipes for a stronger aroma. Then add the listed number of essential oils drops to your diffuser. The recipes below are for smaller 100 to 300 ml diffusers.

Clean Air Freshener

  • 4 dops tea tree
  • 3 drops lemon
  • 2 drops lavender

Unwind

  • 4 drops lavender
  • 2 drops lemon
  • 2 drops lime

Relax

  • 4 drops lavender
  • 4 drops frankincense

Calm

  • 4 drops bergamot
  • 3 drops lavender
  • 1 drop clary sage

Cheerful

  • 4 drops orange
  • 3 drops lemon
  • 2 drops lime
